E-signatures cover a lot, but not everything. Plenty of forms still have to be printed, signed in ink and mailed back: some tax and benefits paperwork, school permission slips, notarized documents, bank and insurance forms. If you don’t own a printer, that one form can stop you in your tracks.
Your options
Print it somewhere. A library or an office supply store will print it for you. It’s quick if one is close and open, but it means a trip, and sometimes a second trip to mail it.
Ask to have it mailed to you. Some organizations will send a paper copy, but it can take weeks.
Have it printed and mailed to you. Upload the PDF from your phone and a printed copy arrives at your door, ready to sign.
Doing it with Inktoss
- Save the form as a PDF. Email attachments and downloads can usually be saved to your phone’s Files app.
- Open Inktoss, upload the PDF and choose your pages.
- Send it to your own address.
- When it arrives, sign it, and mail it back in your own envelope.
Orders ship the next business day, then Standard shipping ($1.49) typically takes 3–5 business days in the mail; Every option includes tracking, and Expedited and Rush are faster. Pricing is $0.29 a page, color or black and white, plus $1.49 shipping, so a typical 5-page form costs $2.94.
Tips so you only do this once
- Check the instructions first. Some forms must be single-sided or printed in full, including the blank pages. Upload exactly what the form asks for.
- Print the instructions too. It’s a few cents more and saves going back and forth to your phone.
- Need two copies? One to send, one to keep, if you want a signed record.
- Watch the deadline. Allow up to about a week for printing and Standard delivery, plus the time to mail it back.
Privacy
Forms often contain personal details. Inktoss stores your file securely for 30 days in case a reprint is needed, then deletes it automatically. It is never shared or sold.
